What will be the transaction speed on ETH 2.0
I understand that the scalability problem will essentially go away with ETH 2.0 for some time. However, how long will transactions take to hit finality? Will it ever be fast enough to compete with xrp, hashgraph etc. because its blockchain vs their form of distributed ledger?
Right now, it take multiple minutes for transactions to hit finality. This isnt an issue for smart contracts and many other use cases, but it cannot be used for any transaction that needs to be quick.
If xrp introduces very good working smart contracts and people start developing for them, would there be any drawback to using xrp or hashgraph?
