I was getting familiar for couple of weeks by mining with old RX570 4GB card. Decided to take the next step by buying 1x RX570 4GB + Radeon Pro Duo (Fiji) 4x4GB card. Pretty happy how old GPUs like Fiji based Radeon Pro Duo (from 2016?) is working in mining RVN. I have one more RX 570 in a Windows machine doing solid 13MH/s making the total hash rate around 62MH/s at 500W. Is Raven the best coin to mine with this 4GB setup? Side note: it took good 6h of debugging to get the Radeon Pro Duo to work in HiveOS. It seems like the original bios in the second GPU was causing issues as it was set as slave. I made the system stable by flashing the first cards master mode BIOS into the second one. Tip for anyone else who gets their hands on these older Radeon Pro Duo models. submitted by /u/i__j |
