Need Advice

Good evening, I have 20 ETH or so that I’m looking at holding onto for awhile. I need some advice on whether I should put them on a hardware wallet or stake them? If you say the wallet, what’s the best one you recommend? If you say stake them, what are the benefits of that and what should I know about staking?
