More miners mean lower or higher RVN price?

Ok, to start with, I'm stupid and know very little about crypto, and general stock market trends.

After ETH becomes harder, and eventually impossible to mine, miners will have to go elsewhere. RVN is a strong contender to pull them in. I'm hearing everywhere that this will drive RVN value up.

But doesnt more miners mean;

  • More coins being generated, lowering average value per coin?

  • Miners potentially selling/trading the mined coins for more popular coins or money, driving the value even lower?

How will an influx of miners increase RVN value? Only thing I can think of, is that since miners will be rushing to RVN, the name will be much better known, so more people will be adopting & investing in it, driving the value up?

ELI5 pls, lost last few functional braincells on various shitcoins. It's very possible that I'm not making any sense at all.
