Question about PPLNS and PPS

Hello fellow Raven miners!

So, I know little about the difference between PPLNS and PPS payout methods.
However, my question is, sometimes my internet drops or resets in my house. Probably once a day or so.

If that happens while using PPLNS, do I lose the progress my miners have made when the internet gets back online?

In my case, is it better to use PPS rather than PPLNS?
