Is Ethereum a better investment than Bitcoin right now? Help a noob out.

I’ve been investing in Bitcoin a while now and some days I make a lot of money and done days I lose a lot of money, but I’m in it for the long haul so my question is – what is a better short term and long term investment ETH or BTC? Thanks.
