Looking to start mining, could use some help from people who know what they are doing.

I have heard that people limit their GPUs to 50% efficiency in order to not damage it and keep it relatively quiet, it's supposed to be pretty sustainable, some people even game simultaneously on it. I have an RTX2080 Super. Could anyone recommend me which mining pool and GPU settings to use?
