Be careful buying from mining hardware vendors

I recently purchased from a vendor who looked legitimate, had been in business a few years and specialized in custom crypto mining hardware. They have ghosted me after my order has been placed, and there is no recourse because the transaction was in crypto. So be careful, crypto has always had scams associated, and I learned the hard way that hardware vendors can also be potential scammers. It is also embarrassing to be scammed. I hesitate to say which vendor because I do not want to send any traffic to their site. I will update this thread if by some miracle they answer any email and/or refund my purchase which shows no signs of ever being shipped.

Since RVN is one of the few coins that normal people can mine, I hope this message helps some of the people who are thinking about mining.
