mining with Radeon rx 550 in arch/artix linux

m trying to mine ravencoin on an amdgpu radeon rx 550. os is artix linux (variant of arch linux). when i run kawpowminer, i get warnings like opencl mesa not supported, switching to platform clover and get very low and unsteady hashrate like 110kH/s. tried installing amdgpu-pro from the AUR, but to no avail.
