New to Crypto

Hi, as the title suggests I am new to crypto though I have been very much aware of it over the past few years. I believe I have started 'hobby mining', i.e. not got a proper rig and with my studies, I don't have too much free time to properly invest into the practice as of right now. I chose Ravencoin based on what I've read, and the general sense of purpose and community its supports share. Basically, I just want to leave my computer running through the day and have the earnings stored somewhere I can easily access and make use of in the future. I'm blessed to have an all-bills-included tenancy agreement so I don't need to worry about electricity costs. I'm running a Nvidia 1050ti on my old gaming pc and mining with the unMineable software. I'm honestly a bit lost but it was easy enough to set up, any tips and [constructive] criticism is much appreciated – or if you know of any light reading/informative videos to get me started that would also be fantastic.
