400Mh/s on a single machine vs 2 machines with 200Mh/s

pretty basic question but I haven’t really seen this ever mentioned anywhere. Let’s say hypothetically I had a 400Mh/s machine called TWO 200Mh/s machines (add up to 400 obviously) would the difference between one machine vs two make a difference in the amount of shares I get? For instance would the one machine get more shares of a pool than the two combined because it’s a higher amount of Mh/s on a single rig?
