This is a story all about how I turned 750 BTC into tuition and happy hour booze

It was junior year at college, 2011, and I was about to become the coolest kid at the bar. I had just sold my 750 BTC to another guy in my favorite internet community (shout out to LUE and LUElinks!) for almost $12 each. I was rich.

I set aside enough to pay my tuition for the next year at school and used the rest to splurge at my favorite bar downtown that featured $2 doubles from 4-9, and the first rounds were on me! When college football season came back I was sports betting like a true degenerate because I had never had this much money in my life. I was awesome.

Having tuition paid meant I spent more time studying and partying instead of working a second job, which was a dream come true at the time. Study for 8 hours, party for 10 hours, sleep for 6 hours. Rinse, repeat. I went on to graduate with a solid degree and immediately started climbing up the corporate ranks. I was feeling smooth.

Fast forward to today. My brain still doesn't allow me to do the math on what that tuition cost me in the long run and while it pains me, early crypto also gave me the opportunity to actually get my degree and be in the safe position where I am today. Successful, financially sound, and still buying more crypto.
