ETH staking.

Hey everyone,

New here so sorry for the noob question. Long story short, in layman’s terms, what are the pros and cons of staking? I’m LONG ETH so it makes sense to stake does it not?

The only thing that worries me is the fact that you can’t trade (for now) if you do stake when the time comes. Thoughts?
