If my metamask wallet gets compromised how do I create a new wallet?

My metamask got compromised. Is there a way to create a new wallet in metamask? I don't see a sign up button when I lock the wallet. It asks for the password which goes to my old wallet which was compromised. Do I need to just use a different wallet brand entirely like coinbase wallet? PLEASE LEAVE ONLY HELPFUL, POSITIVE COMMENTS ONLY! I realize I'm a newbie.
