MetaMask but with zk SNARK Proofs

A new privacy wallet app called Railway (built on Railgun) went live a couple of weeks ago and it's just like the title says. The Railway wallet is Metamask, but with the ability to send shielded transactions of any ERC-20 or ERC-721 token. Your private account balance and the coins you're holding are unknown. Anything you can do with your public funds on Metamask, you can do with your private funds in your Railway wallet.

The wallet will enable protocols across any EVM-capable chain to offer shielded LPing, shielded yield farming, shielded lending and borrowing, and shielded swaps, all without bridging assets off-chain.

Liquidity is not an issue as transactions using Railway use the existing liquidity on the protocol. Everything mentioned above will be native on the platforms themselves, and just like with Metamask, all you would have to do is connect the wallet.

Once a protocol adds the Railgun SDK to their dApp + Railway, theoretically, it's all possible. The SDK will be released sometime this month.

It would be cool to get a discussion about this going. I could see shielded airdrops and shielded IDOs becoming a thing as well. At the moment, you can use Railway to privately send, receive, and swap any token from Ethereum, Polygon, and BSC. You can add custom tokens.
