In the last 9 months over $6b were invest in blockchain firms by just 40 companies. On top of that Alphabet (Google) with $1.5b.

Recently an interesting research was published that showed how 40 companies have invested over $6b in blockchain companies from September 2021 to June 2022. On top of that list is Alphabet (Google) with a massive $1.5b invested over that period. That list also includes companies such as: BlackRock (2nd with $1.1b), Morgan Stanley, LG, Paypal, Microsoft, Samsung and even Chinese company Tencent.

Companies that were invested in by are for example Voltage, Circle (USDC), FTX, Talos and Dapper Labs with many other more unknown blockchain companies. But it's sure to say that this amount of investments is just massive and shows how serious the big players are with crypto but obviously the other side would be that through that some cryptos may become a lot more centralized.
