Question on ether in metamask

Apologies as I am very new into this game.. Let's say if I get 0.1eth into my metamask wallet, or any wallet.. I keep there for a month or so and then decide to cash out.. I assume during cashing out eth to dollars i will be trading at the current eth price correct.
