NBMiner and –cuckatoo-power-optimize

So I've been messing with my settings and trying new things. I discovered this and I added this part to my miner bat, –cuckatoo-power-optimize. Now watching my miner go is producing an accepted share every second or so (keep in mind I only have 1 card) Will this increase my earnings or is that adjusted in the difficulty of the problems? I understand what is happening with that setting, its the results i'm trying to figure out. So many accepted shares (688 in 12-15 minutes) No rejects yet and the difficulty is 43.12M. I'm confused.
