The bitcoin network did not get broken by the FBI, stop spreading unfounded FUD.

The only thing the FBI was able to do was track the moving bitcoins and follow addresses used by the hacking group.

They haven't shared an ounce of information about what happened after the final address holding the funds was identified, much less that they were actually able to somehow snatch and grab coins without the private key.

Even in the news and conference about it they admitted they had the private key, which likely means they were given it willingly by the group that did the hack or face much worse consequences. Just like when they literally drove an armored SUV into Ross ulbriche's estate and forced him to give up his private key too.

The amount of FUD on this sub regarding this news story is actually staggering, and I'm appalled at how many people are seemingly rooting for one of the most secure and proven crypto's to be broken by some unfounded weakness that doesn't exist.

You realize if bitcoin truly had that much of a glaring weakness, 99% of all other coins in existence would be even less safe than it right? There's a reason almost every coin follows it's price action, and the failure of it would mean a failure of almost every coin in existence.

But it hasn't nor will be broken for the foreseeable future, so please stop just believing random unfounded news stories purposefully spreading FUD with horribly in accurate titles. It really hurts everyone in the space.
