I don’t get the gas fees

Doesn’t matter what day/time – if I try to swap 50 bucks it’s going to cost me 300 bucks (on a good day) in gas fees.

Am I missing something? If not, how is this a viable solution for small transfers & swapping.

Tried on meta mask, and uniswap directly
