Having issues with windows defender

So I think windows defender is turning of real time protection after I turn it off.

At first I was just using security settings, then realized that it tells you it will turn it back on.

Then after some research I used the registry to turn it off no help.

Tried group policy no help.

Basically I still have to keep turning the switch in settings off to get the miner to work but it keeps coming back on.

Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes?
