While I am happy that you made money. Dogecoin mania really made me sad about the state of our world. Incredibly sad on what we value in this world today, that spent $49 Billion in a day on a joke promoted by the richest man on earth.

Yes I can be happy for you, if you are not a whale or already rich, but you made good money off Doge I am really happy for you. Hope you get to use that money for something good.

With that said, I am incredibly sad and also in a way disappointed in the way how the world has received Dogecoin. I felt the same way when GME was being propped up.

Not to get too philosophical about this but the idea that $49B of money is gambled on a joke that was knowingly promoted as a joke by the world richest man. The idea that we value something worthless to this degree, and more people are chasing it with this type of fervor. I am just really sad the world we live has become this way, perhaps as an byproduct of this pandemic.
