Staking ETH using Guarda

Hullo, I am thinking of staking the little ETH i have and was wondering whether anyone has used the Guarda wallet for that purpose. I am a bit scared of using Lido and staking with exchanges..so i thought maybe a desktop wallet would be safer (hopefully). Any experience with this or recommendations ?
