A question about Assets and Sub Assets

I want to create an asset that has a few hundred or thousand unique sub-assets.

This is hypothetical but say I wanted to create an NFT for every baseball player in the MLB and their affiliate teams.

Would I need to create a new sub asset for each player? Or could I pay 100 RVN And create multiple unique sub-assets under the primary asset?
