Some help for a newbie please

I'm completely new to Cryptocurrency but want to start mining. I have a Rtx 2080 non S but it's OC'ed to just over a S in performance atm. I downloaded gMiner & used the 2miners pool. It's running at 24.3 MH/s., is that decent?

I'm also thinking about spending $200 USD and buying 1000 coins, thoughts? Is it worth it? Should I buy less or try and buy more? Any tips/advice? Thanks!
