-56% August 2012 from $15.25 to $7.50 Bitcoin Savings & Trust’s operator, Trendon Shavers, went to jail for his Ponzi scheme activities.

-71% April 2013 from $233 to $67 first big brush with the mainstream and because MtGox stopped trading

-87% from $1,166 to $170 November 2013 to January 2015

-49% from $867 to $439 February 2014 -MTGox tanks

-40% September 2017 from $5,000 to $2,972 due to China banning

-84% from $19,665 to $3,164 December 2017 to December 2018 – finally no MtGox, the market was likely overdue for a correction considering how frenzied the market was by the end of 2017.
