I participated in my first (and last) coin pump today

Pump groups always smelled like fish to me, but you know, I somehow ended up in a Telegram pump group out of curiosity. I saw the group was pretty large with tens of thousands of views on every message that moderators sent to the group. I checked the last pumps they did and on the graphs, it looked good. There was a big spike when they said the pump will happen so I decided to give it a try next time they organize a pump. That was today, less than an hour ago.

Immediately when they announced which coin will be pumped, I bought it, well, I tried at least. I got an error a few times. For sure there was a lot of traffic coming from that pump. Due to errors (which took me like 15 SECONDS), I managed to buy the coin so high, that it just went down from there. That was it, a pump lasted a minute (considering where it hit the highest point) and it was downhill from there. I bought higher than any one-minute candle closed.

I'm happy I did this with a small amount just to see how that works. I lost a few %, but that's just a few bucks as well, thank God.

There, I tried it so you don't have to, and by that time I already left the group as well. Stay away from any pump groups and good luck in your crypto journey in general!

P.S: Pump target was 50%, while the price pumped "only" 20%, and as said it was impossible even to buy before the highest point in the pump. That's probably when the moderators cashed out.
