Running a node for RPC

How much disk space do I need to run a server w/ RPC access?

I can't find a straightforward detail of this. I only want to read method returns of contracts by eth_call(), no actual transactions. I don't need archive data, I don't need bleeding edge up-to-date blocks. Will running geth light work?
